Copywriting
Great writing creates a feeling and leaves an impression. It’s a chance to connect with people and make your business stand out. I produce words for pretty much anything: from adverts and straplines, to booklets and websites. I also help define brand language and establish an appropriate tone of voice. I’ve worked with Design Wales on the See Project and Global Health Partner, copywriting a 16pp marketing brochure.

Copy-editing
This involves a thorough reading of text and context. I correct spelling, punctuation and grammar; check consistency of terminology and facts and ensure coherent sentences, paragraph and structure. Double meanings are removed so there is no ambiguity or confusion. Clients include Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and Shakespeare Schools Festival.

Proofreading
Proofreading is the final check to make sure your document is in tiptop shape. I check all mark-ups have been properly incorporated and that spelling, grammar, punctuation, along with prelims, page layouts and captions are all correct. In short, it’s a fresh pair of eyes to ensure nothing has been overlooked and the copy is completely immaculate. I’ve helped lots of students, proofreading applications and essays and worked with organisations such as Wales Tourist Board and Association of National Park Authorities.

Freelance Project Management
With a background in design, I’m right at home working as part of a creative team. With the added bonus of creating content too, I’ll look after your project, make sure it stays on track (and budget), organise production, liaise with suppliers and check proofs.

Typing
If you find typing tedious or don’t have the time or inclination; I’ll transfer your handwritten or printed document onto disk. Quick, reliable and accurate, I’ll return your typed-up text in meticulous condition.
